Our studio, Vesa Architects, participated in the 7th edition of the Balkan Architectural Biennale (BAB 2025), held in Belgrade, Serbia, from November 12–20, 2025, at the Salon of the Belgrade City Museum. The Biennale brought together architects, designers, and studios from across the Balkan region, creating an important platform for the presentation of contemporary architectural ideas and projects.
As part of this international exhibition, Vesa Architects presented two of its recent works, reflecting the studio’s approach to both residential architecture and interior design. The first project, Casa Calma, is a private residence located in the Municipality of Himara, conceived as a tranquil living environment that responds carefully to its natural surroundings and the Mediterranean landscape of the Albanian coast.
Alongside this project, the studio also presented Ilirda Office, an interior design project located in the city of Tirana. The project explores the relationship between spatial organization, functionality, and contemporary interior aesthetics, creating a working environment that balances clarity of form with a refined material palette.
Through the presentation of these projects, the Biennale offered an opportunity to share our studio’s design approach within a broader regional context, while contributing to the ongoing dialogue on contemporary architecture and design in the Balkans.
